A patient is helped onto a C-17 Globemaster III August 28 2007 at Pegasus White Ice Runway, Antarctica. After completing the Operation Deep Freeze winter fly-in, a C-17 crew turned around 24 hours later and flew a medical evacuation for a patient who required more definitive medical treatment then Antarctica could handle.
