DescriptionArlesey (new) station geograph-3247257-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg
English: Arlesey (new) station, with Up train, 1991. View SE, towards London: ex-GNR ECML. The original station (Arlesey & Henlow from 1/3/33) was closed to passengers on 5/1/59 (to goods on 28/11/60), but was reopened on the same site on 3/10/88, with four tracks provided to replace the former two-track bottleneck. Here, long after electrication, a Class 317 is calling on an Up local.
