Summary
DescriptionAshchurch new 2 railway station 1739227 2f7055ae.jpg
English: New Ashchurch Station. View southward on the Up platform of the brand new 'Ashchurch for Tewkesbury' station. It is located a few yards north of the original station, recognisable only in relation to the road bridge (former A438, now A46 connecting just to the west with the M5 at Junction 9). A prominent step-free footbridge connects the two platforms across the busy Birmingham - Bristol main line that now carries HSTs at 125 mph. This station was opened in June 1997, after a hiatus of over 20 years.
