Summary
| Description | English: Caponnier, Newhaven Fort Built at the base of the cliffs near the river mouth. It was constructed in the 1860s to protect the rear of the lower battery which was located out of picture to the right. Access was via a series of tunnels from the fort on top of the cliffs. |
