Description
English: Comenzó como La Hacienda Caño Las Nasas allá para el 1830. Se convirtió en la segunda central azucarera establecida en Puerto Rico en 1875. Mientras fue propiedad de los Hnos. Vadi el azúcar y el ron producido les produjo buenos precios por su calidad. Fue comprada por los franceses en 1904 y finalmente vendida a la familia Bianchi. Se declaró en quiebra en 1921 y se convirtió en la Central Coloso Inc. bajo una reorganización. Fue vendida al Gobierno de Puerto Rico en 1977 y fue la última central en Puerto Rico en moler y producir azúcar. Cerró sus puertas en 2002. Información sobre Aguada en www.enlaceapuertorico.com.
