Description
English: Greek Revival-Federalist style mansion, at one time headquarters for the Southern California and Arizona Territory of the United States Army. It is the last remaining Civil War era military facility in the Los Angeles vicinity. Since 1987 it has been operated as a Civil War museum. It was designated a California Historic Monument (No. 169), a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument (No. 21) in 1963 and has been listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Located at 1053 Carey Avenue in Wilmington, California.
