Summary
| Description | English: In 1865, a lighthouse was erected at Dickinson’s Landing to mark the south side of the upper entrance to the Cornwall Canal. Known as the Cornwall Canal Lighthouse, this beacon displayed a fixed white light. While most Canadian Lighthouses were placed under the Department of Marine in 1876, Cornwall Canal Lighthouse was still in charge of the Superintendent of Public Works in 1878. In 1906, the characteristic of the lighthouse, then known as Dickinson Landing Lighthouse, was changed from fixed white to fixed. | ||||||||||||||
