Summary
DescriptionLincoln Bomber Command Spire unveiling MOD 45159301.jpg | English: Pictured is a shadow cast across The International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC) which commemorates the British, Commonwealth and other nations' aircrew of RAF Bomber Command who lost their lives in the Second World War. A memorial Spire has been erected at the site on Canwick Hill, Lincoln, along with a series of name plates on which are currently being engraved the names of the 25,611 aircrew who lost their lives flying from bases in Lincolnshire.
