Description
English: Commissioned by the Shediac Rotary Club, the World's Largest Lobster was created and constructed by the late Winston Bronnum (notable animal sculptor) of Penobsquis, New Brunswick. The sculpture, which is made of reinforced concrete and steel, measures 10.7 meters (35 feet) in length and 5 meters (16.4 feet) in height and took 3 years to complete. This masterpiece weights 50 metric tons (110,231.13 pounds) and rests on a 32 metric ton (70,547.924 pounds) perestal.
