Description

Die Pfahlbausiedlung Unteruhldingen ist ein archäologisches Freilichtmuseum. Es liegt am und im Bodensee in Baden-Württemberg. Die ersten Bauten wurde bereits 1922 unter wissenschaftlicher Leitung errichtet. Heute besuchen bis zu einer Viertelmillionen Menschen jährlich die Anlage. Das Museum besteht im wesentlichen aus den folgenden Teilbereichen: 1) Steinzeithäuser (Riedschachen). 2) Steinzeitliche Dorf (Sipplingen). 3) bronzezeitlichem Dorf (Buchau). 4) Hornstaad Haus und Arbon Haus. Das Hornstaadhaus wurde 1996 in Zusammenarbeit mit der Fernsehsendung 'Sendung mit der Maus' errichtet.

Die gesamte Anlage gehört zum Weltkulturerbe
