DescriptionPomnik ofiar egzekucji w Rurach Jezuickich w Lublinie 01.jpg | English: Monument to the victims of the executions in the Rury Jezuickie in Lublin and the collective grave of the victims of German crimes against Poles during the Second World War and German occupation in Poland in 1939-1945. German AB-Aktion in Poland. (German: Außerordentliche Befriedungsaktion, English: Extraordinary Operation of Pacification). The Polish prisoners of the German prison "Zamek Lubelski" were murdered and buried in this place. "Lublin Castle" is a German security police investigative prison (Gefängnis der Sicherheitspolizei und des Sicherheitsdienst Lublin). The Germans carried out five executions in the Rury Jezuickie in Lublin. The dates of only three of them are known: June 29, 1940, July 3, 1940, and August 15, 1940. In total, Germans shot about 500 people, of which only 102 were identified. In the same place, December 31, 1941, they were executed also 5 prisoners from the "Lublin Castle" from Łęczna and the surrounding area for participating in the battle of Łęczna in 1939 and helping wounded soldiers of the Polish Army during the September 1939 campaign.Polski: Pomnik ofiar egzekucji w Rurach Jezuickich w Lublinie i zbiorowa mogiła ofiar zbrodni niemieckich na Polakach podczas II wojny światowej i okupacji niemieckiej w Polsce 1939-1945. "Zamek Lubelski" to niemieckie więzienie śledcze policji bezpieczeństwa (Gefängnis der Sicherheitspolizei und des Sicherheitsdienst Lublin). Niemcy przeprowadzili w Rurach Jezuickich w Lublinie pięć egzekucji. Znane są daty tylko trzech z nich: 29 czerwca 1940 r., 3 lipca 1940 r. oraz 15 sierpnia 1940 r. Ogółem Niemcy rozstrzelali ok. 500 osób, z czego ustalono nazwiska tylko 102. W tym samym miejscu 31 grudnia 1941 r. stracono też 5 więźniów "Zamku Lubelskiego" pochodzących z Łęcznej i okolic za udział w bitwie pod Łęczną w 1939 r. i pomoc rannym żołnierzom Wojska Polskiego w czasie kampanii wrześniowej 1939. |
