Description
English: "El Call Mayor" ("Call Jueu" in Catalan) Intersection of Carrer de Marlet, Carrer de la Fruita & Carrer de Salomó ben Adret: One of the entrances to the 12th -14th Centuries Jewish Quarter of Barcelona, site of the Great Synagogue and community shoppes. Here at Carrer de Marlet, 5, archeological evidence indicates it is the site of the former Great Synagogue, the oldest synagogue found in Spain.
