Busan/Gadeok Island (가덕도) is a large island located in the far west of Busan, South Korea. Known for its beautiful, rugged scenery and scenic hiking trails, the island is also home to a number of historical sites, including a famous lighthouse and old fortifications.

- 1 Yeondae-bong Peak (연대봉), Cheonseong-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan. The highest point on Gadeok Island, offering panoramic views of the Busan-Geoje Fixed Link and the surrounding sea. The hike to the peak takes about 2-3 hours and is a popular activity for both locals and tourists.[1]
- 2 Gadeokdo Lighthouse (가덕도 등대), Daehang-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan. A beautiful historical lighthouse built in 1909. It is one of the most iconic landmarks on the island and provides a glimpse into the island's maritime history. The lighthouse is part of the Gadeokdo Lighthouse Park, which is a great spot for photos.[2]
- 3 Gadeokdo Fortress (가덕도 왜성), Cheonseong-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan. Ruins of a Japanese-style fortress from the late 16th century. It offers a historical perspective on the island's strategic military importance. Visitors can explore the stone walls and enjoy the views from the site.
- 4 Daehang Port (대항항), Daehang-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan. A small and charming fishing port on the southern side of the island. You can watch local fishermen and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. Several seafood restaurants are located nearby.
