Gladstone is a city of about 4700 people (2018) in Michigan.

[edit | edit source]Gladstone (nicknamed "Happy Rock") is a small community on Lake Michigan's Little Bay de Noc. The settlement was founded in 1877 as Minnewasca, but its name was changed to honor British politician William Ewart Gladstone.
The area is well known for its walleye fishing, and tournaments have been organized by major sports fishing authorities in the community.

[edit | edit source]Depending on the time of year, Gladstone has different events going on. The Gladstone Ski Park is where many people go to in winter for skiing, snow tubing, and snowboarding activities, From May 15 to March 31, walleye season goes on and draws many fisherman to the area.
