Isca Marina is a village in Calabria, Italy. It is a coastal resort near the buzzing east coast city of Soverato on the Ionian Coast in the very south continental part of Italy. The tourist Village of Sant' Andrea Apostolo dello Jonio is nearby.

It is part of the town Isca sullo Ionio.

It has a warm climate during winter, and beautiful hot summers.

The nearest airport is Lamezia Terme International Airport about an hour away. It is served by flights from cities around Italy and other parts of Europe, along with seasonal flights from Tel Aviv and Toronto.

By train: Nearby stations at Badolato and Sant' Andrea Apostolo dello Jonio have a good train connection from all major Italian towns and cities.

Coach service is also available.

By car, you can drive from Highway "Salerno-Reggio Calabria" and get-off at Rosarno, then cross Calabria from north to south on highway "autostrada dei due mari". These highways are all toll-free.

There is a nature reserve on the sand dunes behind the beach making sure there are always peaceful areas somewhere on the beach

In Copanello di Stalettì and Caminia di Stalettì, cliffs and coves of absolute beauty enchant visitors.

During summertime everything is related to sea. During daytime main activities are water sports or beaches activities; during nighttime sea-side discos (in Roccella or in its surroundings) are quite crowded and in a serene mood. Entrance is almost free. Drink prices are cheap.

For 15 km, from the Santandrea Village to beyond Soverato, there is only a splendid sandy beach.

Isca Marina is also home to an indoor swimming pool with 6 25-m lanes.

Next to Isca is Badolato with a sailing marina. There are good fishing expeditions from the marina.

Like all the surroundings, food is very typical and extremely tasty. Main suggestion includes dry-sausages ("soppressata"), any preparation of egg-plants (by themselves, oven-cooked or in a unique course very similar to Greek moussaka), fresh fried anchovies, and so on. Food is typically spiced with fennel, oregano, onion, garlic.

Roccella has as well an excellent local-made bread.

There are a few nice bars in Isca Marina and even more lovely ones open on the beach in the summer.
