Kętrzyn

Ketrzyn (until 1946 Rastembork; German: Rastenburg) is a town in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodship in Poland, well known as the location of the Wolf's Lair war headquarters in the woods nearby.

By car

Several local roads lead to Kętrzyn from nearby towns in Warmia-Masuria. These can be reached by from west and south and by from south and east.

By bus

There is a temporary bus connection line (replacing rail connection) from Olsztyn which runs two courses daily (8:30 and 15:00, return 3 hours later)

There is also a hotel at the site and a restaurant. It is possible (with no additional fee) to stay overnight in a tent or in a mobile home in the area; electricity and showers are available.
