Lekki is a city in Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria. This article describes the parts of Lekki that are in the Ibeju-Lekki local government area. The Eti-Osa local government area is covered by a separate article.

[edit | edit source]Lekki is a multi-lingual area of Lagos. Dominated mostly by rich people, it is one of the most expensive towns in Lagos State.
Climate
[edit | edit source]Lekki, Nigeria, has a tropical climate marked by consistently warm to hot temperatures and high humidity throughout the year. The weather follows a clear pattern of rainy and dry seasons, with intense, humid rainfall mainly occurring from June to September, while relatively drier conditions are common around January and February. Average temperatures typically range between 79–82°F. As a low-lying coastal peninsula, Lekki is vulnerable to flooding during periods of heavy rain, a challenge that has been worsened by the effects of climate change.

By car
[edit | edit source]You can take a car there too. Uber and Bolt can also be used to get to Lekki.

MTN, 9Mobile, Airtel (Zain), and GLO are all available service providers. So if you are planning a visit to Lekki, you might not have to be so much concerned about the service provider to choose from as they all are reasonably reliable.
