- Main article Stockholm Archipelago Trail
The trail begins at the 1 Arholma ferry stop, where you also find the 1 Arholma Handel grocery shop and the guesthouse 1 Källarstugan. Next you pass an 1 information board. At the crossing turn left, and a few hundred metres on you will find the 2 Arholma campsite to the left, next to 2 Ahlmansviken beach. Continue north 1 km to reach 1 Arholma Nord, where you can stay and eat, and where kayaks are available to rent beside the 3 the Arholma Nord beach. Before reaching Arholma Nord you can detour left to visit the 4 Arholma Coastal Artillery Battery, passing a 5 bbq area along the way.
The trail continues along a pleasant forest road before transitioning onto a narrower, easy path after which the trail passes by the Baltic shore with an open view. Heading south, you'll enjoy a scenic walk along the seaside, following the blue and yellow markers along the coastline to reach the 6 Arholma garden of remembrance. From here a narrow gravel road leads into the small village of 1 Österhamn. One kilometre after Österhamn you reach a crossroads: continue straight to return to the main ferry stop, or turn left toward the alternative winter ferry stop used when there is heavy ice. Continuing straight, you will pass 7 Arholma church and the 8 Arholma båk, a fixed sea mark built in 1768. Passing by 2 Arholma dansbana, you will soon be back at the ferry stop where you can take the boat to Simpnäs or onward to Lidö.
