Northeastern Bangladesh is a region of Bangladesh, consisting of Mymensingh Division and Sylhet Division. Besides being the major tea-growing area of Bangladesh, it is fairly devoid of attractions and touristy activities. However, do not be disenchanted, as it is the place to absorb the true Bangladeshi lifestyle, learning of local traditions and culture that have lasted for generations.
