This template is used to generate the banners used on the Main Page.

Usage

Parameters

Optional values

fools — April Fools article.

DirectiondirectionWhich side of the image the text box should be aligned to.

TitletitleRequired — The name of the featured article.

Alternate titlealt-titleThe name of the featured article that gets printed onto the template. To be used when the default title is exceptionally long. "National Park" and "International" should be abbreviated to "NP" and "Int." respectively.

WidthwidthThe width of the text box as a percentage of the template's full width. Modifying this percentage should not be done unless strictly necessary, to uphold a consistent appearance. Percentage between 40 and 60%45%
