I grew up in a small town near Rochester, New York, got my BS on Long Island, NY, spent two summers working in Maryland, and have family in New Jersey. I've traveled every state on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts, many in between, and Hawaii. I've been abroad to Canada, Mexico, Guatamala, Caymen, Bahamas, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. I especially want to visit Germany, Galapagos, Scandinavia (again), Madagascar, Japan, India, Australia and Cypress.

I like some major tourist attractions, usually science- or nature-related, but I love exploring a region and finding unique adventures.

I'm a vegetarian, so I try to contribute as many vegetarian-friendly restaurants as possible to this wiki. I abhor chain restaurants, so I'll probably delete anything that says "this town has a great Cheesecake Factory" (but very local chains will be spared). Wikivoyage is about /exploring/ the world, and chain restaurants do not qualify as such.

I enjoy hiking, skiing, reading, running, animals, biking and linux.
