Un ristorante dove potete abbandonarvi ai sapori di casa, che sia negli Stati Uniti, in Europa o persino in Messico. Il ristorante possiede solo il secondo autentico forno per pizza a Xi'an. Al piano inferiore, il primo e unico vero pub a Xi'an offre un'ampia selezione di bevande che vanno dalle birre importate al vino e deliziosi cocktail.

Noto alle generazioni più anziane come "il più antico ristorante occidentale di Xi'an", aperto nei primi anni '70. Ottima atmosfera da bar europeo. Buon cibo. Pizza, insalata, pollo fritto e vera torta. Dalle finestre si vedeva l'affollato Huancheng Nanlu (环城南路), mentre all'interno è davvero tranquillo.

- 3 Delhi Darbar (新德里餐厅), Dayanta West Road (雁塔区大唐通易坊东头路北) (direttamente a ovest della Pagoda della Grande Oca, in una strada piena di bar e ristoranti di lusso). Cibo autentico dell'India settentrionale gestito da un meraviglioso manager indiano. Il servizio è buono, il cibo è divinamente delizioso e i prezzi sono molto accessibili. Il Mango Lassi a soli ¥10 è un must. Il prezzo medio del pasto è di circa ¥40 a persona.

Günstig
[edit | edit source]Selbst wenn man das Gleiche serviert bekommt wie der Einheimische am Nachbartisch: der langnasige Tourist zahlt in kleinen Restaurants oft deutlich mehr. Lässt sich nur verhindern, wenn man selbst gut Chinesisch spricht und die lokalen Preise kennt. Bei Preisen im Cent- und unteren Euro-Bereich tut das aber auch nicht wirklich weh.
Gerade in Bereich zwischen Glockenturm und Moschee ist ein Restaurant neben dem anderen.

Prezzi modici
[edit | edit source]Un buon modo se non si desidera il costoso cibo dell'hotel o si vuole semplicemente provare la vera cucina cinese, è semplicemente entrare in un piccolo ristorante e indicare un piatto che qualcun altro sta mangiando e si otterrà un pasto per meno di ¥10 (raramente ¥20) a persona. È meglio farlo all'interno delle mura della città, poiché la maggior parte dei ristoranti lì sono aziende a conduzione familiare e potrebbero essere lì da molto tempo. I veri buoni vecchi ristoranti, specialmente quelli gestiti da persone Hui, di solito servono cibo molto delizioso che è anche molto economico. La maggior parte di questi sono lì da molto tempo e di solito si trovano all'interno delle mura della città. Ma tali ristoranti sono sparsi in tutta la zona. È meglio chiedere a qualcuno che si conosce per sapere dove andare.
Una buona strada dove mangiare è 1 Xiyang Shi (西羊市), che corre da est a ovest vicino alla moschea nel quartiere musulmano. Ma c'è anche 2 Beiyuanmen (北院门) piena di street food cinese. Quest'ultima si trova a nord della torre del tamburo.

[edit | edit source]I locali notturni a Xi'an non sono numerosi. Tutti i locali suonano la stessa musica, un mix di disco cinese e un po' di musica pop. La maggior parte delle persone esce tra le 22:00 e l'01:00, ma i locali sono generalmente aperti fino alle 04:00.
Preparatevi mentalmente ad essere aggrediti dai gestori dei locali alla disperata ricerca di clienti. In estate, la zona attorno a South Gate (南门) è bellissima. A est ci sono tre bei bar con terrazze e giardini. La cosiddetta via dei bar è 3 Defu Alley (德福巷) vicino la porta sud.
Lungo la breve Nandajie (南大街) si trovano la maggior parte dei club (è possibile anche mangiare per strada, poiché ci sono ristoranti aperti anche dopo mezzanotte).
- 1 De Fu Lou Cafe & Bar (De Fu Lou Paulaner Bar), De Fu Xiang Street. In Bar Street (De Fu Xiang), uno dei primi bar ad aprire a Xi'an e un ritrovo preferito dalla gente del posto. Calcio in diretta sul grande schermo e musica dal vivo ogni sera.
- 2 Havana Bar, Renmin Square (nell'Hotel Sofitel). Ha una band colombiana e prepara ottimi cocktail. Non è il tipico Buena Vista Social Club, però: tra un'esibizione e l'altra suonano musica ad alto volume e la band suona un'ampia gamma di pop e salsa. Questo locale è più un club che un vero bar latino.
- 3 Park Qin (basement Qin bar), A-2 Shuncheng West Alley (inside the South City Gate), Beilin District, Xi'an (andate a South Gate. Camminate lungo il muro interno per circa 20 metri. Entrate nell'ostello e scendete le scale nel seminterrato). Un bar sotterraneo (sotto l'ostello Xi'an Shuyuan International Youth). Sempre pieno, con intrattenimento dal vivo e un sacco di laowai. Andateci presto per trovare un tavolo. L'ingresso non è segnalato. Per entrare, premete il campanello illuminato in blu accanto alla porta. Può essere una festa davvero scatenata.
