Hello, PhilipRoeland! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

Thanks for your edits to Chengdu, and for using the Graffiti wall as well -- you'd be surprised how few people do! (WT-en) Jpatokal 09:13, 12 October 2009 (EDT)

Anren Ancient Town

[edit]

I am not sure that the article title follows our naming conventions. To me this article title suggests it is about a archeological attraction, the Ancient Town site at Anren, which should appear as an attraction in the Anren article about the town, rather than its own article. So I am moving the article to the simpler English name.

Also, I noticed that when you contributed Anren Ancient Town you didn't link it into another destination article or use an article template. That meant the page was both an orphan and a dead end page. To improve matters I have added a city article template.

However, in the future, could you please start a new page by linking from an existing link that already contains a link to the article name. Please add a link to a relevant page if you have to. - (WT-en) Huttite 06:18, 5 November 2009 (EST)
