Hi!
[edit]Welcome to Wikivoyage!
Thank you for your great contributions to our North Korea article.
To help you contribute, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about our policies and guidelines and our house style as well as some important information on the way your contributions will be licensed and basic stuff like how to edit a page.
For you, this page may also be of interest: Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians
However, even more important than following every guideline is to PLUNGE FORWARD and write something useful – someone might be along to help with the proper formatting later!
It's also a good idea to create your own account on Wikivoyage because it will provide various benefits:
- easier communication with other writers about your edits and travel tips via your very own User Talk Page
- credit for your travel writing and edits, which will all be attributed to you rather than just an IP address
- your contributions will become more trusted as you become familiar to other Wikivoyagers as a frequent editor with a history they can check
If you need help, check out Wikivoyage:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. We're looking forward to seeing you again here on Wikivoyage! -- Alice✉ 20:07, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for the welcome. Not a Wikipedian though ;P I've been around before. (I pushed for the redesign on {{Template:Infobox}} for example.) 83.70.217.140 20:15, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
- You're welcome.
- Yes that was the second clue that you've "been around the block". Personally, I think your edit to our Shortcut Template was a distinct improvement, too.
- Please let me know your new user name if you do decide to register an account and contribute (so I can welcome you a second time)! -- Alice✉ 20:18, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
- Actually forgot about that one. I like to help out with what little I can. Really want to see Wikivoyage thrive after seeing the shabby treatment of IB staff. The one way I feel I can help is by improving the looks of some of the templates. (At least until IB steals them, but what can you do?) I'll be sure to let you know my username if I ever get an account! 83.70.217.140 20:31, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for your valued contributions and please come back again and again to help out!
- Are you talking about paid IB employees (as opposed to all the unpaid, non-staff contributors like you and I)? If you are, please drop me an e-mail about this as it's nice to get a little gossip or inside info). Have you visited North Korea? Sorry to be so nosey! -- Alice✉ 21:12, 26 February 2013 (UTC)

- Talking about IBobi and the stupid lawsuits they brought against WT contributors. I only know what I've read here, Wikipedia and WT. I even saw the ridiculous messages from IBlegel to people. I know nothing about North Korea. Just saw the page on recent changes over at WT, looked at it here and saw some opportunities for improvement I could make. 83.70.217.140 21:25, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
