Hello there! I’m Léa, I used to work as an employee and contractor for Wikimedia Deutschland's software department. My role consists in supporting and empowering the Wikidata community and other technical Wikimedia communities to work with each other and create great projects.

I'm also providing training to Wikimedia Deutschland's staff on how to create and maintain Meta pages and how to use translatable pages - prepare pages for translation using the Translate Extension.

From 2017 to 2025, I've been coordinating several events related to Wikidata: the international conference WikidataCon (the first editions of the conference took place in Berlin in 2017 and 2019, followed by an online event organized with Wiki Movimento Brasil in 2021 and a hybrid event organized with Wikimedia Taiwan in 2023), the Wikidata distributed birthday, a series of online events (Data Reuse Days 2025, Lexicodays 2024, Leveling Up Days 2024, Data Modelling Days 2023, Data Quality Days 2022, Data Reuse Days 2022...), as well as various other meetups, workshops and gatherings. I’m also supporting projects run by volunteers and other Wikimedia organizations, for example the Celtic Knot 2020 and Arctic Knot 2021, and the remote hackathons in 2020 and 2021.

From 2016 to 2020, I’ve been taking care of communication between the Wikidata development team and the community.

My current timezone is Central Europe (CET or CEST).
