Meta-Wiki has a small active community. When a normal user requires the assistance of an administrator or bureaucrat for some particular task, it is not always easy to find one. This page helps users find one when they need one; asking specific admins directly via their talk pages is one way to elicit a fast response. It is only for assistance required at Meta-Wiki, help for other wikis needs to be requested at those wikis.

Modification request to the local title blacklist

The Main Page and privacy policy pages are fully protected, so it doesn't make sense to add them to the title blacklist and prevent new/unregistered users from editing. I would recommend adding the following lines below to only to prevent new/unregistered users from editing these pages' translations: 

# Semi-protect translation pages of the Main Page and the privacy policy Translations:(?:Main Page|Privacy policy)\/.+ <noedit|autoconfirmed>

Can someone help me?. I'm told that there is not an email associated with my account which causes problerms when I register for events. I am "Roger" at the domain of bamkin.org.uk (see my page). Could someone fix this or tell me how to? cheers Victuallers (talk) 09:29, 8 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

There is definitely an email associated with your account but you have preferred not to receive emails from others (see Special:Preferences). Registering for events does not need an email though but the organisers can't remind you either and probably you might also not receive event confirmation emails.
