Abease is in the northeast of the Ashanti-Kwahu region of Ghana.

[edit | edit source]The main tourist attraction in this village is the annual yam festival celebration called "Kwabena". During this festival, the Paramount Chief pours a series of libations with a climax being the carrying of the Chief in a palanquin amidst drumming, singing and dancing.
