[edit | edit source]11 trains per day (on weekdays) connect Ahangama and Galle, taking 30 minutes and costing Rs 50/25 for 2nd/3rd class. There are 5 trains on Saturdays and 4 on Sundays.
Trains also connect Colombo and Ahangama, taking 2¼ - 3¼ hours depending on the train. There are 7 trains per day on weekdays, 5 on Saturdays and 4 on Sundays. The fare is Rs 240/135 for 2nd/3rd class.
