By car

NC 55 comes north from Fuquay-Varina or south from Durham. US 64 meets NC 55 in Apex and comes west from Pittsboro or east from Cary.

By bus

GoTriangle route 311[dead link] goes to Apex from the Regional Transit Center, with connections to Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and other parts of the Triangle. Route 305[dead link] from Raleigh also stops at Lake Pine Plaza on the outskirts of Apex. These are just limited commuter services, though, so look up the schedules beforehand and plan carefully.

Get around

There are some local cab services due to its proximity to Raleigh and Durham.
