Baudette is a small city in Northwestern Minnesota, on Rainy River south of the Lake of the Woods. It is a county seat of Lake of the Woods County and is known as the Walleye Capital of the World.

Baudette is the eastern portion of MOM's Way (MOM is an acronym for Manitoba, Ontario, and Minnesota), an alternate route that connects Winnipeg and Thunder Bay through northern Minnesota.
