Get in
[edit]By air
[edit]Berthoud is closest to the Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL IATA), which is north of the city, between Loveland and Fort Collins. United Airlines offers a "wingless flight" (AKA a bus) from here to DEN up to eleven times per day. Otherwise the airport is used by private charter flights. Getting from the airport to Berthoud generally requires a vehicle as taxis are uncommon in this part of Colorado.
Further away, but offering a wider range of national and international flights is Denver International Airport (DEN IATA). From Denver, the drive takes about an hour north on I-25. Groome Transport offers rides to Loveland for $32 per adult ($10 per child). However, the traveler is responsible for the trip from Loveland to Berthoud.
