Binsar is a town in Almora district in Kumaon division of Uttarakhand state of India, 33 km north of Almora town.

[edit | edit source]Kathgodam is the nearest rail head that is well connected to Delhi (overnight journey) and other major cities.
The fastest, easiest albeit a bit more expensive way to go to Binsar is to take a cab from Kathgodam. Alternatively, you could take a local bus or shared cab to Almora and then hire a cab from there to take you to the wildlife sanctuary.
