Bintang

Bintang is a small village in Gambia.

There are direct buses from Brikama, the journey takes about 1 hour and costs approx. 40 Dalasis.

A few shops offer basic goods, vegetables and fruits are sold on the street.

• Bintang Bolong Lodge, ☏ +220-448 8035, [email protected]. A lodge on the banks of the Bintang Bolong, the largest tributary of the Gambia River. Most of the facilities are among the mangrove trees, on stilts for when the tide comes in. They prepare fresh fish and offer boat trips and other activities.
