Bitburg

Bitburg is a small German city in Rhineland-Palatinate known for its beer, beautiful natural scenery, and annual European folk festival.

Includes several indoor swimming pools with different temperatures, a water slide, whirlpool with an open air sunroof, sauna's, tanning beds, and when in season also a large outdoor swimming area. The lobby has great German food with a view down below to the recreation area. 
• European Festival of Folklore, 2nd weekend in July. Beer, music, costumes, beer, folklore, beer, and beer come to Bitburg in this annual event. 50 groups from 15 countries present folk music and entertainment in national dress. There are events throughout the town, and a big amusement park, too. And, of course, lots of beer.

Bitburger is the beer of choice in the Eifel region which can be found at any local pub or corner store. Local beer festivals featuring live bands occur frequently; the best way to find information is through local newspapers or by asking residents.
