Boise City is in the Red Carpet Country region of Oklahoma. It is the western-most town of the Oklahoma Panhandle, as well as being the western-most town in the state.

[edit | edit source]- Autograph Cliff (Autograph Rock) (northwest of Boise City). A few miles outside Boise City is a 200-yard sandstone cliff that is a site along the Santa Fe Historical Trail. The cliff bears the names of hundreds of settlers who passed through on their westward journey in the early 19th century.
