Bole is a town in the Ghanaian Northern Plains.

Bole is a major town located in the Savannah Region of Ghana, situated along the main highway connecting the southern parts of the country to the Upper West Region.

From Kumasi: Drive or take a vehicle north along the main road for about 316 kilometers (roughly 4.5 to 5 hours). From Accra: Drive west/north through Kumasi or take a long-distance bus service toward the northern regions, which takes around 8 to 9 hours. From Tamale: Travel west via the major connecting regional highways toward the Savannah Region

Shared Taxis: These operate on fixed routes throughout the town and nearby settlements. They are the most affordable option, and you can flag them down along any main road. "Drop-In" (Private) Taxis: If you need to go to a specific destination quickly or have heavy luggage, you can negotiate a private fare (a "drop-in") with a local taxi driver before starting the trip. Tricycles (Pragya / Mahama Can Do): These three-wheeled passenger tricycles are common for short trips around the inner streets and market squares. They offer a very cheap and breezy way to travel short distances. Walking: Since central Bole is relatively small, most essential spots, including local businesses, local markets, and the Bole District Hospital, are easily reachable on foot if you are staying in the heart of the town.

• Gonja Traditional Cemetery at Mankuma. Indigenous Royal Heritage Site situated just a short drive from Bole town. Mankuma is the sacred burial ground for the Kings (Yagbonwuras) of the Gonja Kingdom.
