Boujdour is in Western Sahara.
Understand
[edit | edit source]Boujdour is not a tourist destination. People here live off fishing. But with lots of money from the Moroccan government, sufficient infrastructure has been created to make this town a good choice for spending the night when traveling through Western Sahara.
Get in
[edit | edit source]Boujdour lies on the one and only road that connects Agadir with Dakhla and Mauritania. So all buses that go between those places also stop here.
Get around
[edit | edit source]The centre is pretty small and it is easy to walk around.
See
[edit | edit source]The sunset at the beach or the pretty Stalinist city layout and architecture of government buildings, if that is your cup of tea.
