Buhi

Buhi is a municipality in Camarines Sur which contains the eponymous lake. The town borders the province of Albay in the south. It is the only town in Rinconada District that does not speak Rinconada but instead speaks the variety of Bikol language called Buhinon

The town is known for its Lake Buhi where sinarapan (Mystychtis luzonensis) is located, the world’s smallest edible fish. This tiny fish lives in the lake and is a well-known local species. The town is recognized for being the home of this unique freshwater fish.

The nearest airport is in Daraga (DRP ^IATA).

PITX in Parañaque has a bus heading directly to Buhi.

You will see lots of public utility vehicles like jeepneys and tricycles in downtown Buhi.
