The area is noted for its fantastic wildlife and magnificent views, especially the view out across Lake Kariba from the main Bumi Hills ridge

[edit | edit source]- Bumi Marine operate a 16-seater transfer boat between Kariba and the lodges/camps along the Kariba shoreline.
By car
[edit | edit source]Drive from Harare on the Chirundu Road, turn left 8 km after Karoi Town onto the Magunje Road, continue on Magunje Road (50 km tar, 150 km dirt) to a T Junction. Turn Right towards Siakobvu (12 km) and continue towards Bumi Hills Safari Lodge (52 km) and Chalala Fishing Village (60 km)
Fuel is only available in Harare, Chinhoyi, Karoi and Chalala and the road between Siakobvu and Bumi Hills requires a good 4 wheel drive vehicle.
