Conway is a tiny community on I-40 about 15 miles east of Amarillo. Farm road 207 connects it with Panhandle to the north and Claude to the south.

  • VW Bug Ranch (Southwest corner of Exit 96 off Route 40). Always accessible. Five Volkswagen Beetles buried nose down in the ground. Similar to the Cadillac Ranch in nearby Amarillo and the upended tractor equipment at Canyon. Free. 
  • Route 66 remnants. A number of dilapidated ruins of a former gas stations, café, and motor lodge provide some interesting photographic opportunities.
