De Smet

De Smet, South Dakota—"The Little Town on the Prairie"—is the home of author Laura Ingalls Wilder. Visitors arrive each summer to visit the Ingalls Homestead, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Memorial Society, and the Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant.
