Deta is a town of 6,300 people (2014) in Banat, Romania.

The main employer in the city is the factory of Eybl AG, with a textile profile, specialized in the production of interior components for cars (steering wheels, upholstery for BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Jaguar, Renault).
