Diving the Cape Peninsula and False Bay/South-west Reefs

The dive site South-west Reefs is an inshore to offshore rocky reef in the South Peninsula area on the Atlantic Seaboard of the Cape Peninsula, near Cape Town in the Western Cape province of South Africa.

A massive area of shallow reef and kelp beds to the west of the tip of the peninsula. It is the haunt of spear-fisherman and crayfish catchers and is unexplored on scuba.

This site is in the Table Mountain National Park Marine Protected Area since 2004. A permit is required.

The name "South-west Reefs" refers to the location to the south west of the Cape Peninsula
