East Hartford is a city with a history that is demonstrated by the presence of some charming buildings that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. However, history has not passed the city by, as it hosts the headquarters of Pratt & Whitney aerospace corporation, a major local employer, and Pratt & Whitney Stadium, where the University of Connecticut Huskies football team plays.
