Ephrata (Pennsylvania)

Ephrata is a township and borough in Lancaster County. It is known for the historic Ephrata Cloister.

Historic monastic refuge of the "Schwarzener Brethren" (also known as the "Dunkers"), a fun-loving group who preached a celibate lifestyle and a vegan diet. After annoying neighbors in other towns, they realized they would have to build their own enclave if they were ever to get someone to listen to exciting stories of being celibate and never doing nothing with nobody. For some reason, the order died out after a few decades, as the last words of the last member of the order were, "This sucks.
