Reason for local upload: The statue was unveiled in 2007, hence the sculptor is likely alive. Unfortunately there is no freedom of panorama in Mauritius for copyrighted works of art. However, this photo is of great enough importance to the article on Hinduism to merit local uploading as fair use.
