Geraille National Park covers a previously known hunting area in Southern Ethiopia called Borena Controlled Hunting Area.

History

Established in 2006, the Somali National Regional proposed the establishment in order to moderate different savannah wildlife life including rare animals like, Giraffe, African Elephant and Black Rhinoceros.
