Honor is a small village located in Benzie County in Northwestern Lower Michigan close to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, the Platte Lakes, Crystal Lake and Lake Michigan also the Platte River runs through the outskirts of town which makes Honor a popular canoeing and fishing destination.
