Hontanas can be easily explored on foot.

There are no ATMs or grocery stores in the village.

Some accommodations sell prepared food to guests and non-guests.

There are a few water fountains.

If you aren't a pilgrim and want to sleep in a dorm, ask the private accommodations beforehand if it can only be used by pilgrims.
