Injune is a small town of 430 (2021) in Queensland's Darling Downs region. Most notably, it's the last place you can get fuel before Carnarvon National Park if you're heading north.

[edit | edit source]Injune is 91 km north of Roma on the A7 Carnarvon Highway. The road is rather straight and easy but sees a lot of road train activity.

[edit | edit source]- 1 Injune Train Station, Hutton St (next to ambulance station). The site of Injune's former railway station. An old steam locomotive is permanently sited there along with some signs about the history of this railway disused since the mid-1960s.
